Nobel Laureate David Gross has Given the Twelfth Annual Memorial Lecture

The Twelfth Putcha Venkateswarlu Annual Memorial Lecture, was given by Nobel Laureate Dr. David Gross from University of California Santa Barbara, CA, USA, on November 6th, 2009. The title of the talk was "The Coming Revolutions in Fundamental Physics". Dr. Gross shared the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2004 with H. David Politzer and Frank Wilczek "for the discovery of asymptotic freedom in the theory of the strong interaction".

Is Mathematics = Theoretical Physics?

Professor Ronald E. Mickens, Distinguished Fuller E. Callaway Professor at Clark Atlanta University will present a seminar presented a brief history of the subject and provided (tentative) conclusions regarding the relationship between mathematics and theoretical physics.
